"You've got to die fast in this town,
Because there are too many ghosts among the living,
To leave room for the dead,
This town which binds me,
This town which binds us all,
This town which celebrates,
Not the raise but the fall,"
I remember Celia, we all do. Who could forget her. She was the one who saved us.
"You've got to flap your wings,
And fly,
Those who fear living,
Have no need to die,"
She made us vow, that night before sixth form, that this was it, that this was our final time in this town. That we would not fail to escape, like Alice who missed out on Oxford, because a baby came first. Or Ricky, now known as "Poor Ri
In particular I love the artwork from manga & anime, and believe that the Japanese culture has produced some of the most beautiful art creations and series. Most of all I love the art of manga collective 'CLAMP', and think that all of their work is wonderful and so complex that I wouldn't know where to start if I had to try and draw a scene for myself! (:
Some series I like... (dominated by CLAMP) Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles xXxHolic Cardcaptor Sakura Chobits Tokyo Babylon X/1999 Vampire Knight Pokémon Digimon
And apart from manga... Asides from manga & anime, I have a rather huge obsession with Harry Potter, and believe JK Rowling to be an absolutely fantastic writer. A true English phenomenon was created upon this book's publishing, and I hope it will never be forgotten! Of course, I love video games too, and Final Fantasy has to take credit as being one of my favourites with its breathtaking graphics. Kingdom Hearts also has a special place in my heart, having been the first series I did a proper cosplay to. A lot of my free time is spent reading, and hope to become a novel editor someday in the future. John Green gets a mention here for being one of my favourite authors, so if any nerdfighters are reading this, DFTBA!
My Work... I'm afraid to say that my work is often very random, and there is no particular theme to it apart from the manga influences. FanArt is a prominent theme in my gallery, and I hope to draw some new pieces based on CLAMP artwork as well as keeping with some of my own ideas and inspirations. I may also set up journals asking for commissions if my inspiration is running dry, so keep an eye on my journal!
Enough about me... I'm just here to share my artwork with the Devy community and to admire other people's works!

Ooooh I haven't updated my journal in so long, and it's about time I published an update!
The photo from AlCon with me and LittleKuriboh has been uploaded, excuse the terrible Misty cosplay of mine, I thought it was good at the time, but realise now that it wasn't. So, after the joys of AlCon, it was onwards to the beginning of uni which has been nothing but busy! Unfortunately my timetable demands me to be in every day, so free time has been a little thin on the ground...
So, the Yu-Gi-Oh phase has continued, with a couple more art pieces being uploaded to my gallery, although I haven't had all that much time for artwork recently. And spea
So, this journal may be a little late (I couldn't quite bring myself to replace my Harry Potter premiere journal!), but I wanted to write about Alcon 2011!
Alcon 2011 was so much fun, I'd just like to thank all the organizers for all their hard work, and the guests were amazing! I was dressed fairly normally for the Thursday and Friday, but on Saturday I cosplayed Misty from Pokémon, and on Sunday I cosplayed Sirius Black from Harry Potter (although my wig was a tad thin and shiny). I went with Xchibi-lissieX (https://www.deviantart.com/xchibi-lissiex) and we met loads of awesome new people :D
We attended panels by TwinFools & Nova of Fighting Dreamers Productions, who wer
Ah, long time no journal! But I do bring news of exciting events that have happened over the past few months!
First up, and perhaps the BIGGEST EVENT OF MY LIFE EVER. Me, NiteGnome (https://www.deviantart.com/nitegnome), DesuNeko (https://www.deviantart.com/desuneko) and Sophie went to the World Premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, pursuing a life-long dream of mine to attend one of the premieres. We booked a hotel, and after a few train problems (to say the least), we travelled down to London and immediately headed to Trafalgar Square to get some premiere wristbands, and then headed off to dump our bags at the hotel and did a bit of shopping before dinner. Then me and desu-neko (https://www.deviantart.com/desu-neko) cam
